I know it seems like The Holidays are so far away, but I really wanted to capture the beautiful, crisp fall weather that has been happening over the past few weeks.  McKinley Park is actually quite beautiful right now and there are plenty of yellow and orange leaves to fall into and throw up in the air.  It was the perfect setting for some Holiday Mini Sessions.  I definitely had fun with everyone who came out to play with me.  Thank you to the beautiful families who chose me to take their Holiday Portraits this year….

Seth and Jennae are, as I mentioned before, almost too cute… The way they look at each other, you’d think that they’d only just met!  The truth is, these kids have been in love and together for the past five years and they’re getting ready to tack those five years onto spending the rest of their lives together.

The story of how they fell in love is also almost too cute….  They met as college students in Gilroy; at first they were just making eyes at each other in class;   then  Jennae “accidentally dropped her pencil ” under Seth’s chair so that he would notice her; and that turned into passing notes to each other and then a lot of Myspace messages to one another (when Myspace was SO hot).  Their first interaction outside of class is when Seth invited Jennae to watch him play baseball and she was pleasantly surprised by the fact that he didn’t turn into some hotshot baseball jerk on the field,  he remained the great guy that she had started to fall hard for .  At the time Jennae knew nothing at all about baseball and even admits that she had no idea which team he was even on!  Things have changed though; she not only understands the game now but really enjoys it and going to games has become something that the two of them enjoy doing together.

Whether they’re spending time with family, having a quiet home-cooked meal at home, going out with friends or getting away for a weekend up at her family’s Sonoma County retreat, these two truly enjoy being with one another.  And the fireworks???  Damn!  You’ll see what I mean in the following photos……

I am so honored to be a part of Jennae and Seth’s engagement and marriage, which I’ll be shooting next year!  They’re such a wonderful couple… it’s lovely to see two people who truly love and adore each other, this love is real folks!!  More photos to come very soon.
