It was awesome to finally meet The Dublins after hearing so much good stuff about them from my friends Tarika & Barrett.  Erica & Jim recently welcomed their son into the world, what a cute little baby chunk!  He was soooo not in a posing mood; but with a little cajoling, tickling and kissing he managed to get the job done!

Photographing dear friends is always an honor and it was so much fun with Shannon and Jason!  They are such a wonderful couple and I think their love for one another and how much fun they have together shines through here!

My wonderful, beautiful and talented long time friend Tarika is engaged to the wonderful, handsome and funny Barrett.  Their Palm Springs wedding isn’t scheduled until next October, so they can have a nice, relaxed engagement.  I am personally looking forward to a nice, relaxing weekend in Palm Springs!  These two are some of the most genuine and warm hearted people that I am blessed to have in my life and I am so incredibly happy for them.  I was truly privileged to photograph such a beautiful pair!

I met up with my friend Warren and 12 of his crazy bicycle riding friends on the misty morning of july 4th in santa rosa to see them off!  They were off on an 1,100 mile bike ride from Santa Rosa, CA to Seattle Washington to help raise funds for Hystiocytosis Research.  Histiocytosis affects 1 in 200,000 children who are born with the disease each year.  The young daughter of one of his friends suffers from hystiocytosis, inspiring the group to take on this mammoth bicycle riding venture.  They have about a week to go and I wish them well…

Naima is one of the brightest little spirits that I know.  I love her little rosebud lips and her gray-blue eyes.  She thoroughly enjoyed plucking the blooms off her grandma’s daffodils, even though we told her not to.  She kept on sticking the bubble wand in her mouth even when she realized how incredibly bad it tasted.  You just can’t stop Naima.  Honestly, who would want to?

Hailey is such a gracious little creature.  On her birthday she was surrounded by her loving family and a ridiculous birthday girl hat that only a mommy could love.  She soaked up every ounce of attention that came her way, being the little ham that she is.  After a little breakdown and consolation from the binky, she hung on until the song was sung and frosting was painted everywhere.
