Welcome to Madeloni Photography!

Hi I'm Marita Madeloni, a lifestyle portrait photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area.  I love photography for the art form itself, the perspective it gives me on my life and most of all, the way it brings amazing people into my life.  I've been looking at my life through a lens since my sophomore year in high school and now I am blessed to call photography my career.  Over the years I've explored many styles of photography and I've realized what really works for me and how I love to shoot! I shoot primarily with natural light and I supplement my work with some fill flash.  I also work exclusively on outside locations or in my client's homes.  I feel that working with people in a more natural setting brings out more of their personality and makes each session unique.  My focus is on photographing babies and children and I find that there is no better way than to photograph them in a place where they feel comfortable and can have fun!

I was honored to take part in the second annual Portraits in the Park event in Marin today.  The benefit will provide funds to further the education of children at a small parish school in Tanzania.  Here is just one of the many beautiful images that came from today’s sessions.  I had the pleasure of photographing Olivia in December at Golden Gate Park and it was great to be able to capture her beauty again! This time, however, I was also able to capture the beauty of her new baby sister Emma….oliviaemma

Afternoon walk with the pup

Christmas in Ireland

So we finally made it back to The Emerald Isle to see Glenn’s family after two and a half years of living here together.  It was so great to see everyone and spend Christmas in a properly cold winter climate!  I have to admit that it was a bit of a challenge to be driving on the left side of the road again.  Also, the challenge went to the next level as we slid around on icy roads.  We got around even if it meant driving 20 mph!  We pretty much went from meal to meal, that was the main focus of the trip aside from visiting with family.  We even got a bit of shopping and visiting with friends while we were there.  It is really hard to have family living so far away, but it’s so great when we get to spend time together…
