I can’t believe Christmas has come and gone again. I know it sounds so cliche, but it’s so true! I almost NEVER remember to take photos of the food I cook, at least not while I’m cooking, but this year I actually remembered. If I hadn’t though, my fabulous foodie friend, Milan kindly reminded me to as well. Here are just a few photos from my Christmas weekend. It is by no means complete, I am notorious for not taking photos consistently at home when I’m busy cooking and preparing for a gathering. But I think you’ll get the basic idea. Happy New Year to you all! I hope you’ve had a wonderful time spent with friends, family and good food.
My Christmas Kitties:

Hot Apple Cider infused with “tea” bags:
Gluten-free sponge cake for the trifle; it tasted like the real deal!
The finished trifle and the infamous custard skin:
Something a little more festive than my normal MO; Christmas dream drops with crushed candy cane and dark choc chips:
The Guinness Gingerbread process, it was yummy but next year I think I’ll add grated fresh ginger for more punch:

A little variety of goodies; my mom’s famous sour cream cake, Guinness Gingerbread and Date Nut Pinwheel Cookies (my great aunt’s recipe):
Gluten-free Cran-orange-walnut cookies, Dream Drops and Date Nut Pinwheels:
The yummy spread on Christmas Eve:
Me and my wonderful Mom:
Mychel always steals the show with her witty cuteness!
