I know it seems like The Holidays are so far away, but I really wanted to capture the beautiful, crisp fall weather that has been happening over the past few weeks. McKinley Park is actually quite beautiful right now and there are plenty of yellow and orange leaves to fall into and throw up in the air. It was the perfect setting for some Holiday Mini Sessions. I definitely had fun with everyone who came out to play with me. Thank you to the beautiful families who chose me to take their Holiday Portraits this year….

When Glenn and I moved to West Sacramento last summer, we couldn’t have picked a better spot. We have great neighbors on either side of us and on one side is this lovely family… Chris, Zeina and their adorable son George. George is the sweetest boy and has no fear of animals; he spent half of this shoot chasing a squirrel halfway around McKinley Park; and when my dog Mugsie barks incessantly at him, he takes it as an invitation to play! It was so much fun following this loving family around for a little while, we’re so grateful to have you guys next door…..

Naima has grown up soooo much since my session with her and her parents last December! She is one of the most hilarious almost-three-year-olds that I know…. And cute? Um, yeah. She was certainly the star of this session, but she let her parents in for a few shots at the end.

Athena & Josh are two super loving parents to little Owen and are soon to welcome a new baby into their family… Josh’s parents were in town and that was a good excuse to get the whole clan together for a family portrait. We took photos at their home in their beautiful and HUGE backyard! That expanse of grass would make my dog so jealous!

Emma is the most precocious two and a half year old I have ever met… She tells is like it is with a lot of sass and flashes the most beaming smiles I have ever seen! Despite all this, however, she LOVES the camera and would do just about anything for you as long as she gets to see herself on the back of the camera at the end of the day. Miss Emma you rock!
